A Story From the Owner
The pursuit of a more peaceful way of life has been a decades long journey for me. It’s taken me to rain forests, oceans, and mountain tops. It’s led me to the practices of many healing arts. It has involved meditation along with service to others. The quest eventually led me back to what I’ve known since childhood. I have always had a strong connection with animals. Even as a preteen, I cared for various pets in our neighborhood as well as our own. As a young adult, our family dog and cat, Belle and Sprinkles, rekindled this love of mine.
Belle and Sprinkles inspired the beginnings of Peaceful Pets. These loving companions were both rescued from terrible neglect. They overcame great obstacles to bring so much peace and joy to our family. Their love for each other made them even more inspiring. I set out to help more dogs and cats bring this much peace and joy by meeting their needs with love and care. With the help of many loyal animal friends and pet parents, Peaceful Pets became a thriving small business. Eventually, I started my own family here in Morris County where my quest began. We will continue to call this place home for many years to come, raising our son and serving our local communities. The pets have helped me remember that peace comes from a positive presence more than an exotic place. It comes from perseverance more than peaks; from playfulness more than postures.
Peaceful Pets is about pets, people and planet. It is as much a service to pet parents as it is to pets. We offer you peace of mind and happier fur babies. We strive to look even further as to how our actions ripple to the planet. We revel in nature as do our pets and we seek to tread gently on that which nourishes us.

I’m a nature and outdoors enthusiast who loves all sorts of animals. I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs, cats and other pets throughout my life. Additionally, I am a massage therapist with advanced training and 3rd degree Reiki. My background also includes property management, maintenance work, and a bachelor’s degree in history. Since the birth of my son in 2018, parenting has been a most rewarding addition to my life.
